Anything looking familiar?
It should.

THE HOUSING MARKET tanked nation wide in '08, though you'd never have known walking the neighborhoods of Seattle. Big tech gavaged this city, stuffed it with rabid consumers who shoved Seattle into the glistening coffopolis it is today with frothed luxury and split-shot freeze, sprinkled with cutthroat competition and flavored with the thick syrup of anxiety.
"Four pumps, please. Extra hot."
And they didn't just want places to live. They demanded shine. So the machine exploded on to the scene, flinging progeny into the mosh - students became designers, tinkerers became builders and anybody became realtors. Some of them were even ready for it. We were, mostly. We remember. We were there. Tip of the spear.
Experience only got you so far back then. It helped, but what it took was courage, guts, nerve and audacity. Be careful with that last one, though.
Seattle was a city run by the Old Guard, and could get in its own way more often than not. So with the neighborhoods stretching at their seems, something had to be done.

ABOUTUS
We are builders. You know, hammers, saws, drills, concrete… all of that, and more. It’s easy to think of it as “The Dirty Work,” right up until you step into one of our homes after everything is complete. Then it becomes something different. It becomes the thing of envy, not built, but birthed.
An accurate count of the number of homes we created in Seattle between 2009 and 2015 would be at best a guess: 300? 500? 700? How many companies got their start with us? 10? 15? 20? How many Realtors cut their teeth with us? We lost count of that number pretty early, but you know who you are.
Whatever the case, a lot happened in the late aughts and into the twenteens, with successes relished and many lessons learned. And here we are, 2026, our hull scraped clean of barnacles and painted afresh, with new sails sewn and raised, and updated charts with which to navigate toward new horizons. Some would say it's a whole new ship.
Today, we have over 90 projects in the pipeline supported by over $75M in lending capital. Currently we are focusing on single-family homes in the Seattle area, with design edge, backed by our years of building experience and quality craftsmanship.
We are now in the stages of opening our doors to investors who want in, becoming pillars in this endeavor, to once again raise a flag over a sovereign and passionate entity called
Super Big Robot.

Below are images of some of our work. To be fair we've mixed it with early and recent projects for a variety of styles, and a glimpse into the evolution that's taken place between design and materials.
To think that design leads the way would be obtuse. Construction practices and materials development are often the tails that wag the dog, and designers worth their salt know this. Combine this with the availability of a skilled workforce and you have ingredients where a miscalculation of one over the others can spoil the stew.
Don't spoil the stew.
